An Ohio man who says he doesn’t trust banks or paper money paid part of the cost of a new truck with 16 coffee cans full of coins. The coins covered half of the $16,000 of the truck’s price. The man’s son wasn’t surprised — he said the father always preferred to use coins. What amazed him was the fact that his cheapskate dad has agreed to buy a new truck at all — even though the old truck had run over its owner when the parking brake failed last year.
